Course Overview
The COC Unit Standard – Three Phase course at NewTech Academy is a SAQA-aligned, assessment-led boot-camp that equips licensed electricians with the competence to inspect, test and legally issue Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) on three-phase commercial and industrial installations. Mapped directly to Unit Standard 259197, the programme compresses advanced theory, instrument coaching and supervised site inspections into a five-day block. Graduates exit audit-ready, able to sign off three-phase work and register with the Department of Labour as an Installation Electrician (IE).
